BIOGRAPHY José Galisteo (real name: José Antonio Galisteo García), born February 24, 1977 in Viladecans, Barcelona, is a Spanish singer.
The middle of three children in a working class family, Galisteo was into music from an early age, beginning to play the piano at the age of four. After completing his education, Galisteo joined the military. After he completed his military duty, Galisteo decided to pursue a career in singing. In 2006, he auditioned and was selected as a contestant in the fifth season of the singing reality television series "Operación Triunfo," where he placed sixth in a field of 18.
Galisteo has since gone on to record a bestselling disc, "Remember," which produced a hit European single, "I Promised Myself," and has toured frequently in Spain, and several shows in Paris and Berna. View GALLERY:
