BIOGRAPHY Drew Seeley, born April 30, 1982 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, is a Canadian singer and actor.
Seeley is best known as one of the singing voice of Troy of "High School Musical." While most people believed it was Zac Efron singing the songs, it was actually Seeley's voice blended with Zac's. This was due to that the key was too high for Zac. Seeley has recorder many songs for The Walt Disney Company which include: "DisneyMania 4," "The Cheetah Girls 2, ""Jump In!," "High School Musical," "DisneyMania 5," and "High School Musical: The Concert." "Get'cha Head in the Game," a song he co-wrote with Ray and Greg Cham for High School Musical, helped propel the soundtrack to 4 million copies sold stateside alone and was nominated for Emmy Award.
Aside from singing, Seeley has also guest starred in several shows. In 2008, he appeared in "The Suite Life Of Zack and Cody" ; in "Stuck In The Suburbs" in 2004 as the hotel clerk and in the movie "Another Cinderella Story" for Warner Bros. in which Drew acts, sings, and dances with Selena Gomez; and starred in his first lead role in "The Shortcut" a thriller/horror by Adam Sandler's "Scary Madison Productions" which will be out early in 2009.
