Ohio born and raised, Allie moved to New York to study acting at the Meisner Extension of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. Having received his BFA in Acting, Mulholland has appeared on the New York stage and television. 
While auditioning for acting roles, he stumbled his way into a modeling career. In March, 2005, he originated the role of Jim Stark on the NY stage in the off-Broadway production of Rebel Without a Cause.

He has also written and illustrated a children’s book, The Puzzle of the Universe, and occasionally records with his band the Phoenix Project.
