BIOGRAPHY Davis Mallory, born August 10, 1983, in Marietta, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta, is an American TV personality and aspiring model, best known for his appearance in MTV's "Real World."
Mallory was raised in a conservative Southern Baptist home. He was very involved with his church growing up, although in middle school he had a suspicion he might be gay. Mallory left home for college at 18 and headed to Stetson University, where he joined a fraternity and got involved with the social Greek scene. His senior year of college he made peace with his sexuality and "came out." Several months later, he decided to try out for MTV's "Real World" at an open casting call in Tampa, FL and several interviews later he was off to Denver. He was cast as "the straight acting gay guy" dealing with his religious issues and a homophobic roommate.
Mallory graduated Premed from Stetson with a degree in Business Administration with the aspirations of becoming a plastic surgeon, however he is currently pursuing a career in modeling. In his free time, Mallory's touring around the US making personal appearances at malls, colleges, lounges and other nighttime social spots. His college appearances include speeches about the process of coming out while dealing with Christianity, prejudices and homophobia and alcohol awareness and abuse.
