BIOGRAPHY Dave Salmoni, born 1975 in Sarnia, Ontario, is a Canadian animal trainer, zoologist, a television host, best as a nature host for the show host "After the Att@ck".
Salmoni graduated in biology from Laurentian University in Sudbury and was an apprentice animal trainer at Bowmanville Zoological Park. He was certified in Chemical Immobilization of Wildlife while at the University. Salmoni left Canada for South Africa in 2000 to help captive animals learn the skills they needed to be released into the wild. He continues to visit South Africa three months out of the year. Salmoni has hosted and/or produced several TV documentaries, including "Living with Tigers" (2003), and "Into The Lion's Den" (2005) and "Sharks: Are They Hunting Us?", both for Discovery Channel, as well as starring in the show "Animal Face-Off" as a host and expert.
Salmoni is a host of several Animal Planet and Discovery Channel programs such as "Rogue Nature", "Into the Lion's Den", and "After the Att@ck ", which are series he not only hosts but also produces. Due to the success of his TV shows, Salmoni has appeared as a guest several times on "The Late Show with David Letterman", "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" and "Anderson Cooper 360°". View GALLERY:
