BIOGRAPHY Chris Brown, born in 1976, in Vancouver, BC, is a Canadian model who is best known as the face of Guess in 2002 and became the only male model that has been featured in three consecutive campaigns in one year by Guess.
Brown was on his way to become an architect, when a modeling agent approached him when he was visiting Seattle. He later joined an interview session during a talent search hosted by ProScout in Vancouver, and was offered a job right away. Chris was soon off to Toronto having his first modeling jobs through Canadian media. His short stint in Toronto was followed by a quick relocation to New York, where he was signed on by Ford Models.
His strong features gained the admiration of many advertisers and photographer, and had naild many magazine spreads and ad campaigns for Gap, Armani Collezioni, and Perry Ellis, just to name a few. In 2002, Brown got his big break, first, when appeared on the covers of Kenneth Cole and Club Monaco, and Guess decided to feature him in the Spring 2002 ad campaign, and the following two seasons' campaigns. Brown is still finding it hard to believe the great opportunities he's received so far and he hopes the best is yet to come, "I might still be back home washing cars or something," Chris says, "back home no one ever thought I'd be a model."
When not modeling, Brown is into extreme sports. His favorite things to do are surfing, jetskiing and riding his motorcycle and dirt bike. View GALLERY:
