Ryan Reynolds Hates Guns Funnyman-turned-action hero Ryan Reynolds finds it hard to adjust to his new tough guy persona - he hate guns.
The Hollywood hardman can't stand the "godless instruments of death" and believes using them in films such as BLADE 3 and SMOKING ACES is having a lasting impression on him.
He explains, "I think I'm allergic to guns in real life. It's hard on your nervous system, that's the thing I noticed when I finished the film (Smokin Aces). I did a couple of smaller dramas after it and then I did a romantic comedy.
"If I'd chosen another movie that had violence in it, I would have had a difficult time staying true to my contract and showing up to work."

Lane Garrison Charged with Manslaughter "Prison Break" actor Lane Garrison could find himself in the big house for real. He's been charged with manslaughter and drunken driving in a car crash that killed a 17-year-old boy last year. If convicted, the 26-year-old could face up to six years and eight months in prison.
Garrison was behind the wheel of an SUV that jumped a curb and struck a tree December second. The crash killed a Beverly Hills High School student and injured two 15-year-old girls who were also in the vehicle. Police say Garrison's blood-alcohol level was above the legal limit and that he had cocaine in his system.
His lawyer Harland Braun said, "He is going to accept responsibility for his conduct. The only question is what is that level of responsibility?" Garrison was released on $200,000 bail and is scheduled to return to court for arraignment on April 11.
Judge Eldon Fox banned Garrison from driving, drinking alcohol and contacting witnesses of victims of the December 2 crash. Garrison was driving 17-year-old Vahagn Setian and two 15-year-old girls home from a party in Beverly Hills when he lost control of the car. The actor and two girls were both injured in the crash, but Setian tragically died. Setian's family released a statement, saying they were "gratified" to hear Garrison's charges, adding, "They have lost their only child due to Lane Garrison's recklessness."

Mark Wahlberg 'Creeped Out' with Brokeback Mountain Role Mark Wahlberg is happy filmmaker Ang Lee did not cast him in 'Brokeback Mountain', for the idea of playing a gay cowboy did not sit well with him. He was "a little creeped out" at the prospect of having to play a gay cowboy. Wahlberg reveals he and pal Joaquin Phoenix were originally considered for the roles of Ennis Del Mar and Jack Twist in the 2005 film - but both felt uncomfortable about sex act scenes in a tent.
Wahlberg explains, "I met with Ang Lee on that movie, I read 15 pages of the script and got a little creeped out. It was very graphic, descriptive - the spitting on the hand, getting ready to do the thing.
"I told Ang Lee, 'I like you, you're a talented guy, if you want to talk about it more...' Thankfully, he didn't."
The parts eventually went to Jake Gyllenhaal and Heath Ledger and, though Wahlberg feels it's a film he must see, he has yet to watch Brokeback Mountain.
He adds, "I didn't rush to see Brokeback, it's just not my deal... Obviously, it was done in taste - look how it was received."

No More Spidey for Tobey Maguire New Dad Tobey Maguire has confirmed the upcoming Spider-man 3 will be the last time he plays the superhero on the big screen.
Maguire says, "To me it seems like this is a natural point for the team to break up because we have a lot of story conclusions that were going along for the main characters for the first two movies and we kind of tie almost everything up for the third movie. "It feels like a trilogy to me and it feels like the end."
But moviemaker Sam Raimi isn't so sure that it's all over for the web-slinging movie hero. In a recent interview, the director stated he's seriously considering a fourth film. He explains, "I love Spider-Man and I love working with Kirsten, Tobey, James Franco)... I just have to make sure that when I'm done with Spider-Man 3, I'm really still fascinated with the character. At this moment I'm fascinated with him."
But Raimi insists he couldn't imagine making a fourth installment if Maguire didn't sign on for it. He adds, "I couldn't imagine it."

Ricky Martin gives Bush the finger Singer Ricky Martin has made a bold statement about the war in Iraq and the way he feels about the US President.
During a concert in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Ricky Martin gave President Bush the finger when he sang Bush's name in his song "Asignatura Pendiente," which includes the words, "a photo with Bush." The gesture last Friday prompted cheers from thousands of fans in the San Juan stadium.
"My convictions of peace and life go beyond any government and political agenda and as long as I have a voice onstage and offstage, I will always condemn war and those who promulgate it," Martin said about his action in an e-mail statement sent to The Associated Press via a spokesman.
Martin, like other artists, has been highly critical of the war in Iraq.
