Keanu Reeves wants to get married
'The Matrix' star - who has never got over the deaths of his stillborn daughter and the baby's mother, Jennifer Syme, in a car crash in 2001 - admits he is lonely.

He said: "When the people you love are gone, you're alone.

"I miss being a part of their lives and them being a part of mine. I wonder what the present would be like if they were here - what we might have done together. I miss all the great things that will never be. It's not fair."

However, Reeves - who is promoting new movie, 'A Scanner Darkly' - says that despite the traumas he has endured, he feels he can move on.

He confessed: "I'm trying not to be alone so much. It's a struggle. I want to get married. I want to have kids. That's at the top of the mountain. I've got to climb the mountain first."

Reeves has started his emotional makeover by buying his first house so he can put down some roots.

He told America's Parade magazine: "I've had a vagabond life and living that way seemed to make sense. I couldn't settle down, then I turned 40. That birthday is hard, perhaps because you know you're grown-up."

Stephen Dorff is surprised he is not gay. The handsome actor who is romancing British Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding - confessed that when he was younger he loved wearing women's clothes and watching girls put on make-up.

He revealed: "Since I was a young boy, I always loved watching ladies get ready. I figure I would have been gay or asexual, if I didn't want women the way I do."

Dorff has previously been romantically linked to Pamela Anderson and Juliette Lewis - is also astonished he has never fathered a child after all his one-night stands.

He confessed to Britain's Observer Woman magazine: "I'm amazed that I haven't had a baby yet after years of being drunk and wild in nightclubs at 4am."

Ryan Reynolds and his singer fiance Alanis Morissette have split up.

Ryan and Alanis, who first met at Drew Barrymore's birthday party in 2002 - have decided to call time on their relationship of almost four years.

The pair got engaged in 2004 but never set a date for their wedding, with Alanis claiming the reason was because they were "really enjoying" their engagement.

It is not yet known why the pair decided to split and representatives for both stars have so far refused to comment on the break-up.

Before the split, the singer claimed the reason the pair's relationship was so successful was because they were both Canadian.

She said: "We already started off with the shorthand, so I think it's a really great base. I attempted dating many American men. I really tried!"
