The Notebook co-stars Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams have sparked reports they are getting engaged, after being spotted shopping for rings.

The couple were romantically linked in June when they re-enacted their passionate kiss from the romantic epic as they picked up Best Kiss at the MTV Movie Awards.

A friend of the couple tells the Chicago Sun-Times newspaper, "Not only does it look like they're living together, but they've been talking to top private jewelers about engagement rings."

Colin Farrell checks into rehab

The Irish hellraiser became addicted to prescription painkillers after being given them for a bad back. He reportedly went into a treatment centre after collapsing at the wrap party of his new movie 'Miami Vice', on Sunday, Dec. 11.

Farrell's Los Angeles publicist, Danica Smith, said: "Colin Farrell has checked himself into a treatment centre for exhaustion and a dependency to prescription medication which was prescribed to him for a back injury.

"No other comments will be made at this time."

A source is quoted in Britain's The Sun newspaper as saying: "Colin faced his demons and decided to get clean."

The wild star is known for his love of women and partying.

Last year, he confessed to a magazine that he had even smoked heroin.

He admitted: "For some reason, it seemed pretty f*****g nice at the time. There was nothing I wouldn't have f*****g done. Whatever was around."

Australian country singer Keith Urban wishes he could turn back time because he regrets posing nude for Playgirl magazine.

The 38-year-old musician, who is currently romancing Australian actress Nicole Kidman, was able to maintain his modesty with the help of a guitar, but still looks back on the April 2001 photoshoot with disgust.

He says, "I look back on it and I go, 'That probably wasn't a great idea.' But I was sort of swayed by the record company that this would be a good thing.

"It's not the full monty and, hey, it could get a whole load of people going out and buying your record, they told me.

"But I look back now and wish I hadn't done it. There are some things in your career you wish you hadn't done, so there it is."
