Dad-to-be Matt Damon marries
Matt Damon is following in his best friend Ben Affleck's footsteps.

Matt Damon and his fiancé Luciana Barroso were married Friday morning in New York City and are reportedly expecting their first child together.

The US TV show 'Access Hollywood' reports that Barroso, who Damon proposed to before Labor Day, is three months pregnant.

The child will be Damon's first — Barroso already has a six-year-old daughter, Alexa, from a previous relationship.

The news comes just one week after Damon spoke about his desire to be a strong father figure.

"I have longed for (kids) in real life," he said. "I just have to learn how to be a disciplinarian."

"I'm good at winding kids up, but I'm not so good at chilling them out."

Robbie Williams Wins Gay Libel Case
Robbie Williams has successfully sued a British newspaper and two magazines over claims he is "secretly" gay.

The singer has accepted substantial but undisclosed libel damages from The People newspaper and Star and Hotstars magazines after they claimed he deceived the public by having casual homosexual encounters with strangers.

The People newspaper ran a story in 2004 headlined "Robbie's secret gay lover" shortly before the publication of a biography of the singer by his friend Chris Heath. The paper had alleged that in the book Williams had been "pretending" his only sexual relations had been with women and that "in reality he was a homosexual who had engaged in casual and sordid homosexual encounters with strangers." He added that the newspaper alleged Williams had enticed a stranger into a toilet in a Manchester club where the two men performed sex acts on each other and where Williams asked the stranger to engage in a further sex act. It also said the 31-year-old had another sexual encounter with a stranger in the streets behind the club a year later.

Robbie Williams' lawyer told London's High Court, "Mr. Williams is not, and has never been, homosexual."

Translation: his lawyer is trying to tell us Mr. Williams is not a homosexual right now, but that he could still become a homosexual in the future. Basically, Robbie Williams is gay but too afraid to admit it.

Ben Affleck's baby joy
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have become parents for the first time after the actress gave birth to a baby girl (Dec 1, 2005.)

The pair and the baby, who they have named Violet, are said to be "doing great". The couple's publicists, Ken Sunshine and Nicole King, confirmed the baby was born at 6.26pm. They said: "Mother, father and baby are doing great."

Ben and Jennifer, both 33, who married last June after meeting on the set of 'Daredevil', had both previously hinted they were expecting a girl.

Sexy Jennifer accidentally revealed her unborn baby was going to be female on America's 'Tonight Show', admitting: "You can just start to feel really pregnant, like you are the hugest person on the face of the planet. I felt bigger and bigger, like she."

Jennifer - who had earlier refused to reveal the baby's sex - quickly stopped mid-sentence and laughed. Ben had previously sparked rumours they were expecting a girl when he was overheard discussing the baby with Jennifer at the couple's wedding.

Ben was heard saying to her: "My mom wants to know what we're going to name her, but I say, 'What does it matter as long as she is healthy?'"
