Joaquin Phoenix to quit acting
Joaquin Phoenix has hinted he is to quit acting after becoming tired of his jetset lifestyle.

The actor, who checked into rehab after finishing his latest movie, Johnny Cash biopic Walk The Line, also revealed he needs time to find a girlfriend.
The actor revealed: "Getting into a character is very difficult for me
because I step away from everything that makes me comfortable.
"I show up with nothing in a strange hotel room in a strange city. I don't know anybody. I'd like a relationship - I've grown very tired of acting, the whole process, having to walk away from my life. It takes a lot out of me and I'm growing tired."
Phoenix, whose brother River died from a drug overdose, also confessed going to rehab for his alcohol addiction was the best decision he has ever made.
He is quoted on America's MSNBC.com website as saying: ""It's the best thing I ever did for myself," he said. "Cash was addicted to pills - for me it was all about drinking." |
