Jesse Metcalfe's New Girl
Jesse Metcalfe seems to have found something he liked at Fashion Week: a pretty brunette PR gal.

A spy says the "Desperate Housewives" actor met the woman in the W Lounge backstage at the Bryant Park tents.

They exchanged digits, but a pal of the Southern belle says she played hard to get.

"He kept calling and persisting to have some downtime with her," says the snitch. "They were spotted at the Rag & Bone after-party on Sunday, and he would not let up.

She said, 'I'm not hooking up with you,' and he said, 'But it's my last night in town.'" Tease.

Christian Slater Cleared of Groping Charge
Groping charges against Christian Slater have been dismissed. A judge made the decision to throw out the charges this morning, during a pretrial motion hearing in New York City.

Slater enthuses, "The case is over. I'm thrilled. I'm glad that the prosecution felt the case was worthy of dismissal... It just shows that someone can accuse you of anything."

Slater, 36, had been accused of grabbing a woman on a New York City street early in the morning of May 31 as the actor was allegedly arguing with his girlfriend.

The actor's lawyer, Eric Franz, says, "I think the fact that this case was dismissed speaks for itself. I think it suffices to say we are relieved."

If convicted of the two misdemeanors for which he had been charged, Slater could have faced up to a year in prison. In mid-July, he turned down a plea deal offered to him. Under the deal, Slater would have performed three days of community service in exchange for pleading guilty to a charge of second-degree harassment.

Maybe Ben Affleck inspired him
Matt Damon and girlfriend Luciana Barroso are engaged, Us Weekly reported Monday. A publicist for the Bourne Identity star told the magazine that Damon popped the question "shortly before Labor Day."

The couple haven't set a wedding date, Us Weekly said. It would be Damon's first marriage. Barroso has a daughter from a previous relationship.

Mark Wahlberg Not To Remove His Third Nipple
Actor Mark Wahlberg decided not to remove his third nipple, confessing he started to kind of like it. Wahlberg, 34, was thinking on having a removal operation to lose the third nipple, after the media attention it attracted.

The rapper-turned-actor was so shocked by all the attention his extra nipple received, he wanted to lose it - but he has grown to love his body, including his third nipple.

Mark revealed to America's Rolling Stone magazine: "I've come to embrace it. That thing's my prized possession."

Jude Law Caught in Short Nude
Jude Law, who appears to have a knack for getting caught with his pants down, has done it again. A full monty shot of Law is zipping around the Internet, courtesy of a paparazzo who caught Law changing into his swimsuit near his mother's home in France.

The photo, which has quickly become the shot seen round the world, has also become a lightning rod in a curious debate regarding Law's natural endowment.

Somerhalder Hits Back at "Anti-gay" Slur

Ian Somerhalder is furious he was slammed as homophobic when he decided his famous gay kiss in The Rules Of Attraction would be his last.

The 26-year-old hunk nearly lost a lot of friends as a result of the public reaction to his remark, although he insists his words had been spectacularly misconstrued. He says, "It's not me who can't handle it, it's the audience.

Seann William Scott didn't get all of the backlash that I received when he did just the same in American Pie 2. It was completely unjustified - fans and outraged men saying that I was making anti-gay remarks. I wasn't and those very close to me who are gay were visibly upset. I'd never make a disrespectful remark about anyone, especially in public, about one's sexual preference."
