BIOGRAPHY Chris A. Johnson, born January 25, 1986, in Melbourne, is an Australian rules footballer in the Australian Football League with the "Carlton Football Club".
A running defender, Johnson has also played in midfield for the "Melbourne Demons." He was recruited from East Fremantle, at Pick No. 36 in the 2003 AFL National Draft under the father-son rule. In 2005, he won Melbourne's Best First Year Player. Johnson was delisted by the Melbourne Football Club on the 31st October 2008 after not agreeing to terms on a new contract and will continue his career elsewhere in 2009. He attended off-season training with the Carlton Football Club, and was selected by the club with its selection (#4 overall) in the 2009 pre-season draft.
Aside from football, Johnson also gained popularity outside the field, thanks to his good looks. In 2009, he was even named one of 50 nominees for the "Cleo Eligible Bachelor", a popular magazine for women. In addition, he's been featured in the "Gods of Football" calendar -- with almost nothing on -- to raise funds for the breast cancer charity. View GALLERY:
