BIOGRAPHY Juan José Ballesta, born November 12, 1987, in Parla, Madrid, Spain, is a Spanish actor.
Ballesta began his career in the advertising world. For eight years, he worked in the television series "Querido maestro" (Dear teacher), and later, "Famosos y Compañía y Compañeros." Because of his work, he quit school. Ballesta made his film debut in 2000 in the film "El Bola," a role which won him the Goya Award, the Spanish equivalent of an Oscar, at the age of 12 for best emerging actor, which subsequently made him the youngest actor to ever win the prestigious award.
Since then, Ballesta has racked up an impressive list of acting roles in both film and television including "El embrujo de Shanghai" (2002), "Planta 4ª" ( 2003), "Ladrones" (2007) and "7 vírgenes", where he played a gay role and kissed another guy for the first time.
