BIOGRAPHY Caio de Castro Castanheira, or simply Caio Castro, born 1988, in São Paulo, is a Brazilian actor.
Castro is the new "it" young actor of 2009 and is poised to be one of the next huge TV stars in Brazil. His boyish looks, beautiful smile and acting talents were quickly in demand by the time he reached his early teens. By 2008, he landed his big break when he secured the role of Bruno in the hugely popular Brazilian soap "Malhação", and he signed the contract on his 18th birthday, it is safe to say that the last thing this modest young man felt was surprise.
In addition, Castro has appeared in several editorials including "Todateen". For fun, Castro enjoys hanging out on the beach where you could see him sunbathing, swimming and surfing -- which is his number one hobby. View GALLERY:
